Kirkgate Developments was originally established in 1994 as Kirkgate Homes.  A subsidiary of Grampian Housing Association, Kirkgate extends the range of housing options available to customers, including homes for sale and market rent.

Kirkgate Developments also undertakes non-housing developments including, for example, health centres and office accommodation.  Residential developments continue to be built through Kirkgate Homes.

Kirkgate Developments is a company limited by shares and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Grampian Housing Association. It is a member of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations.
